A.B.T.™ PreMix cDNA Synthesis Kit (Hexamer) 8-Strip Tube is a cDNA synthesis kit containing all the components necessary to obtain cDNA in a high yield from RNA samples. The kit is ready for use. A.B.T.™ PreMix cDNA Synthesis Kit (Hexamer) 8-Strip Tube makes the cDNA synthesis practical by combining all lyophilized components required for cDNA synthesis reaction in a single tube, one-step format. A.B.T.™ PreMix cDNA Synthesis Kit (Hexamer) 8-Strip Tube saves time and reduces potential contaminating errors by eliminating several pipetting steps. A genetically modified MMLV reverse transcriptase (an RNA-dependent DNA polymerase) in the kit is used in cDNA synthesis with long RNA templates. The enzyme has no RNase H activity. Thus, it can produce long cDNAs. Reaction buffer in the kit allows for RT reaction temperatures up to 50°C. This situation can increase the efficiency of the reaction by melting secondary RNA structures and reducing non-specific priming. The kit is also included random hexamer primers. Specific primers may also be used with the kit. The first strand of cDNA can be directly used as a template in PCR.
