A.B.T.™ TE Buffer (Tris-EDTA) has a pH level of 8.0 brought up with HCl and is stored at room temperature. It is of biotechnology grade and no DNAse or RNAse activity is detected. TE buffer is used to solubilize DNA or RNA while protecting it from degradation. TE (Tris-EDTA) is commonly used for DNA isolation and electrophoresis protocols. TE in a number of different formats. 10X liquid concentrate can be used to easily prepare a 1X working solution by diluting with distilled, deionized water.
